Research is search of knowledge or it is an art of scientific investigation.

 

We have different types of research they are:

2. Descriptive research studies.

3. Diagnostic research studies.

4. Hypothesis testing research studies.

5. Action research studies.

6. Comparative research studies.

7. Pure research studies.

8. Applied research study.

9. Operation or Quantitative research study.

 

 

1. Exploratory or Formulative research studies:

To gain familiarity with a phenomenon or to achieve new insights into.

 

2. Descriptive research studies

 

To portray accurately the characteristics of a particular individual, situation or a group.

 

3. Diagnostic research studies.

 

To determine the frequency with which something occurs or with which it is associated with something else.

 

4. Hypothesis testing research studies

 

To test a hypothesis of a casual relationship between variables.

 

5. Action research studies.

 

Researcher attempts to study action. E.g. transportation.

 

6. Comparative research studies

 

Researcher attempts to study the comparison of institutions, organization and practices.

 

7. Pure research studies.

It is the study of finding solution to a problem.
