Pav bhaji... the name itself stimulates our taste buds..!! Many of us like to have it but the main problem comes when we think of the type of ingredients they use outside.. is it hygenic and all..
So, now you need not worry.. as i'm giving you all the recipe of very tasty and delicious finger liking PAV BHAJI.. Try it yourself..!!


Serves four.

INGREDIENTS:
Pav's (bun pieces) : 10
Potatoes  : 5 medium size cut into half
Cauliflower : 1/4 medium size sliced
Carrots  : 2 medium size sliced
Tomatoes  : 4 medium sized chopped
Onions  : 3 medium sized chopped
Green chillies : 2-3 sliced
Ginger garlic paste  : 2 tea spoons
Pav bhaji masala  : 2 table spoons
red chilli powder  : 2 tea spoons
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves
Butter : 4 table spoons
lemon : 2 sliced

METHOD TO PREPARE BHAJI:
Boil potatoes, cauliflower and carrot in a pressure cooker after adding water until 2 whistles. Then keep it aside. After few minutes remove the vegetables and drain the water into a bowl. We use this water in the later stage of preparation. Peel off potatoes. Mash all the vegetables with a masher or with spoon. 
Take a pan and keep it on stove. Add 3 table spoons of butter and let it melt. Add onions and stir fry them until they are transparent. Add 1/4 of the tomatoes and let them boil for few minutes. Later add ginger garlic paste and green chillies. Stir fry until the oil separates. Then add the mashed vegetables and mix well and pour the water that is drained after vegetables boiling. About 2 cups of water should be poured. Add the remaining tomatoes and mix well. Close the pan and let it boil for 5 to 10 minutes.
Remove the lid and add red chilli powder, pav bhaji masala and salt. Mix well. Keep it for 2 minutes, add coriander leaves and squeeze 1 lemon. Again mix well. Before serving garnish it with onions.

Tasty bhaji is ready...!!!

METHOD FOR PAV:
Cut each pav into half. Place a pan on the stove on light flame. Add butter and place the pav pieces on pan. Press them till they become slight golden and do the same on the other side. Pav's become crispy and tasty.
Now eat the pav's with the delicious bhaji garnished with onions..!!! :))
