Water:

Water is the elixir of life, a universal solvent, a wholesome miracle. It is a well known fact that we can stay for days without food but begin to be restless without water. The major portion of the Earth is covered with water so is also the major portions of our body consist of water.

We all know for the fact that Water resources are limited. Due to the population expansion, it has become difficult for man to search for natural resources of water. Hence, the usage of technology to store, retrieve and purify water has been ongoing for ages.

The benefits of purified water:

1. It is acceptable by body with good taste, we drink the water

2. Required for purifying the body

3. Required for detoxifying

4. Required for overall wellbeing

Our Vision:

“Building India as a Healthy Nation “

Our Mission:

  • Right to Safe Drinking Water for everyone in India
  • Not a single Indian should die , due to lack of Safe Drinking water
  • Stopping the lakhs of deaths every year in India due to contaminated drinking water

Our Inspiration is our Country: India

India ranks a lowly 120th rank in the list of 122 countries rated on quality of potable water. It is said that by the year 2020, India will be among the water-stressed Nation. We want to make our country sustainable in being a water-resource Nation rather than a water-stressed Nation.

Women in Villages of India spend nearly 6 hours per day collecting water. The water they collect are generally rendered unfit for consumption. They need to travel far and wide just to have drinking water. Most of the people in villages after consuming this water get affected very quickly from water borne diseases like diarrhea , flourosis, etc. Their overall health gets damaged and this may even cause death.

Every year due to lack of clean drinking water there occurs 6 lakh deaths. Another 80,000 spend their income in curing the water borne diseases and spending their time in hospital beds. There is no employement and progression of education among the village people, hence the awareness dwindles and no improvement of better health

Our Impact:

We have established Community water center plants in quality effected villages to make clean water availability more easier and nearer to the home. women can focus on other activities they do in their day to day life

NOTE:

1.LPH-Litre Per Hour : our plants are designed to give clean water output based on Litre per hour. If it is 100 LPH ,it indicates 100 litres per hour is the output

2.TDS- Total Dissolved Solids : This is a measure of measuring the total impurity in water. The unit is in ppm that is parts per million. According to World Health Organisation, a water fit for drinking must have TDS=30-100 ppm. Any number beyound 100 ppm gives a bitter taste and the water is not good for health.
