Down the Memory Lane
Hi friends! This time I don't have much of anything to share with you but, there is this short romantic poem that I penned down just a while ago and I would like you all to read it and give me your feedback. As I loved his poem a lot, so decided to post it here and share with all my friends. Please feel free to give your valuable comments. So this is how it goes.........
Down the Memory Lane
Down the memory lane, I still feel the pain
You're away for long, yet I feel the same
I can remember how close you were to me
I look back to see how far you are from me
Years have passed, I still feel the pain
I'm waiting for you, to heal the same
I can feel the bond you shared with me
Off the beaten track still connected to me
I remember the days, we played in the rain
Trying to recollect the past for no gain
I treasure the moments you spent with me
I hold your memories so close to me
Many a Season passed, without any rain
I'm still waiting, for a drop of the same
I Wish I could make you return to me
Lest have the heart you've taken from me
I pray to God, love doesn't happen again
And if it happens, it ends with your name
I wish you stayed forever with me
In an eternal world for you and me
