In this fastest world everyone is running for achieving their aim and it is absolutely right also but whether anyone is aware about the environment in which we are living and the kind of problems we are facing or going to face in our future.development is very necessary for each and every country but it should not be conducted in such a way that will affect the envioronment. development should be there but it should be "sustainable development". It means your development should be made in such a manner so that our earth and able to sustain its effects.There are many laws exist in our country but they are not properly implimented in the manner which they want. if we will not give attention towards this from now itself very soon our earth will loose its beauty.

The Global Warming is coming up badly More than worse .The temperatures are rising uncertainly that were never before.Summers are getting hotter.Winters  are getting chilly wild and  rains are bringing cyclonic floods almost every year to a country.And more to the horror Economic system is badly getting affected.Animals are dying and high form diseases are spreading due to warming.

Well this is not over.Its bringing up more and more discoveries to an end.Now first let us all knw what actually is Global Warming.Lets define it in a more good way.Global warming is the next big impact that will bring about a change in the weather patterns. By definition, Global Warming is the increase in average temperature that gradually warms the Earth’s atmosphere. It is a phenomenon, which has been on the rise but in the last century, the increase in the levels have been alarming.

I think there is no point discussing cause and effects of global warming. I think what we need is immediate action to bring this situation under control.“I live in Chennai and in the last few years I have seen it change from a pretty tree filled place to a concrete jungle. The clean, fresh air that I remember from my childhood is now pollution ridden. And very few trees in sight! Saddens me to no end! And it is this feeling that drove me to try and do something in my personal capacity to help. And to help make any change I figured I would need to work with an NGO that will be able to take the message of environment awareness to a larger audience. Hopefully through all of this help my own place will benefit in some small way. Found a good NGO on Jaagore.com that is doing some interesting work in this field and I think they will find a fit with my services as a public relations person.

Warming is nothing but phoney.According to rigorous research and studies,the whole idea of global warming has been bashed my many scientists.The are many people who blindly follow the idea of global warming people shouldn't be so inane about commenting on what they dont know about  global warming is not the warming of earth.This is because the earth is getting warmer due to solar flakes this is a process due to which the nuclear eruptions on surface of sun become so violently active that they superficialy accelerate temperature and in turn it leads to warming of earth as a whole .These solar flakes happen once in a  10,000 years. So people shed off your fickle -minded attitude .analyse on whatever and i respect the creditability and criticality of nature for human surivival.But i wopuld surely like to clear a myth that global warming is phoney and totallyuntrue.If you don't want to rely on my matter you can surely do the following steps which are really easy even for a couch-attached person:

1. Switch on the TV
2. Hold the remote .
3. Set the Discovery channel

humans do not require any external factor to get extinct.They will destroy themselves.They sure have the potential! we are only catching the results of our way of life. This is the price to live as the most inteligent animal, we creat the solutions for us, but we forgot to create the same solution for the nature, the natural speed of mothers nature isn't enough to replace years of desctruction, we creat the desert, we built the future and forgot the consequences of this. Nothing is free at this world, you want confortable life? pay the price, first for the best car, the greatest house, the best travel, and after this pay to the nature mother, because  taxes will be more heavy than you can hang on. let's think about it.

Let's look at the bigger picture and be global citizens. Let's remember that we have only one home--Planet Earth.It's not like we can move out when our home is destroyed.We don't have to control countries or politics, just educate and spread awareness across to those industries and businesses, which provide the bulk of air, land and water pollution to realize that it's high time they invested in R&D activities to make their business more eco-friendly.

I'am not saying this will do the job or it will be easy, but "a seed planted well will grow into a tree rather than many seeds strewn across without support." We cant blame developing countries for the cause. Every survey shows usa and some other developed countries are major contributers to the problem. That is why the lobbys against government and mnc's are getting stronger there.When I hear the words “Global Warming” or read it somewhere, I feel scared & worried. Scared!!.. For everything present on this earth, what face it may take due to effect of Global Warming.And Worried!! What consequences we all may have to face due to this.But then I revoke, does these feeling of Scaring & Worrying could help in it alone?No. Not at all. So what can be done?.

No doubt, many Environmental Organisations, all over the world, are making numerous Studies & Research work and suggesting much mitigation for this. But it could be effective only then, when, we the common people will not only understand it, but also participate and will give our genuine contribution in this.Its very simple to say, just like reading and also seems simple to do. Right?Let us check: Everyone who may come to this Forum must have read, at least one or two ways to serve environment, but did you did our job???If No. Then this is the time to start. And If Yes.. Then your job is not completed yet.
Spread Awareness.. This will also contribute!!

Is global warming real?
Temperatures have only been increasing by a TINY fracture each year! I mean one millionth of a degree! You don't see the temperatures globally! They show you the temperatures of the US. The US is not the only country in the world!Also, the air is cleaner then it was in the 1980's! So why are we complaining about bad air? In the 1970's, everyone thought there was going to be in ice age. Is there one? NO!

People are always trying to come up with ways to scare us. Ozone is a greenhouse gas, it traps heat that would otherwise radiate into space. If the ozone layer is decreasing, then why do people say the temperature is rising? Ozone traps heat! If there's less of it, there's less heat being trapped!

Earth hs been changing since million years.so it must be one of the change may be we are heading towards new age.I have always said that Nature knows the best.And on the other hand nature is more powerful than human and it will erase big percentage of human as their volume has increased.They have cut many trees so they have to pay the price .



oh lord, poor Polar bear lost all the glacier to sit upon. India and China should cut down on emissions as soon as possible.  


Co2 levels have been gradually increasing since last 50 years, with mor carbon di oxide in atmosphere in every successive survey. Anyways main Gas responsible for Global Warming is Methane and not CO2.
We have just had 2 snowstorms and its end of December, highly unusual for North East and its not even El-Nino year. There are more cyclones hitting South Eastern Coast than there were in 80s and 90s. Part of Greenland still remains water in winters in recent times, Antarctica and Artic pole glaciers are shrinking, Himalayan rivers are flowing with much lesser water, heat is touching new highs in Andhra every year, Dubai is seeing frosty snow and Paris worse ever summers.Rain forests of Amazon and South East Asia are disappearing with alacrity as per pictures received from space. Maldives is just 5 decades away from being submerged forcing them to official appeal to world to save them, they recently held under water parliament to highlight the point.

Steps to reduce global warming:

As per my knowledge, within our capacity we can do this in 2 ways :
1. Road show or rally :
We shall carry placards, posters, banners and go on streets, talk to people on the way at their houses, shops etc and try to spread knowledge about Global warming. We may distribute some pamphlets with useful info on how to reduce the impact.

This involves mainly preparing placards, posters or banners in background and few hours of field work to go round the proposed area. This is a small scale campaign

2. Community Awareness program :
We shall talk to the local authorities or association of the colony. Take a community hall for few hours. Arrange some competitions for children which will attract them. Also add some programs such as skits in between for sharing knowledge and dances or songs for attracting the youth and parents. Distribute pamphlets, display posters in venue and also convey the message through various programs in this event. This is the brief idea of community awareness program.

Which areas have to be considered for the first and second type?Which activities have to be conducted for attracting children and adults?How can we take the message nearer to all sectors of people in that locality?
What programs would be done by our members or other friends?First all 582 members of ARROW should promise

I promise to protect my MOTHER Earth:

I will Plant trees near my home.
I will use compact fluorescent lamp (CFL), not incandescent bulbs.
I will set the AC to 25, not 22.
I will take a train or bus or bike instead of a car.
I will use less energy that heats up the earth.
I will use water sparsely.
I will minimize the usage of polythene covers.

Lets be sure at least all our team members(boddunan) are doing their best to reduce the Global warming.The major causes of Global Warming is Co2, Methane, water vapor. Any thing you do to reduce pollution will help to reduce global warming such as proper usage of electricity, fuels like petrol, diesel , gas etc.Especially plant the tress which consumes less water. And even survive with out human care like Aloe Vera.

Some of the ways we can expand the Global Warming Campaign:

1. When we are conducting a meet with people, it would be better to have a Presentation at the start saying the reason for this hot temperature, lack of rains, floods is Global warming. Skin Cancer, Malaria, and the Hantavirus are serious health risks of global warming. At last what we can do to preserve that. Always the pictures shown can make them to think a while.

2. Asking them to share their views how can we conserve energy.

3. One more idea is make it a big competition in Hyderabad. Let it be a School level or Engineering college level competition. How to reduce Global Warming will be the topic for Elocution or essay . And best five will be given prizes. The gifts can be given by the Environment department of Hyderabad. Even if we want to make it big lets have some Sponsors. If we do this way number of participants will increase and ideas may also expand.

4. Some people from ARROW team can meet our Municipality department heads, Environmental Research people, Pollution Control department and know more about more control methods.

Some of the diseases caused by global warming are malaria,Skin cancer etc.


Every human being is responsible for this Global Warming. So the responsibility of all of them to help in reducing global warming. This is possible with a lot, like - Change living style, plantation, Shared travelling system (Can reduce pollution, a big reason in increasing Global Warming and many more. who say that the effects of global warming can be reduced and delayed, but not avoided completely. Climate has seen cycles throughout the entire history. only difference is that noe we can actually see the change - it just so happens that currently we are witnessing an end to an ice age, so sure, temperatures are gonna rise, also the sea levels. Some evidence suggest that during other such climate cycles sea levels have even be 300 metres above the current level, so it is all part of a natural cycle. With the increace in ocean surface area, the planet will gradually start to cool down again.But our responsibility is not to speed up this natural process by dumping all the our crap in the atmospere and maybe thus buying some extra time to come up with solutions that help our populations to cope with the changing climate.Actaully the threat of the possible impacts of global warming can be viewed as a positive influence in finding environmentally friendlier solutions to our everyday lives, Fear makes us act and think faster, so maybe, just maybe we can manage to save our hides.

The problem of global warming is no doubt a reality, but it seems to be a bit hyped. It is made to appear as though the entire blame rests on mankind. Cycle of glaciation and de-glaciation is after all an inbuilt phenomenon of nature. As much as, on a larger scale, is a scheme of evolution and involution; and creation and dissolution of universe itself. In the parlance of ancient scriptures it’s a Brahma-Vishnu-Mahesh cycle.The problem can be tackled by human effort but only to a limited extent. Even in that different nations are not prepared to listen due to their own vested interests, be it Kyoto or any other agreement. Obviously, economy of western countries is dependent on industries, whereas Asian countries want to be excused under the tag of developing nations. Per capita emission of India is very small, but for a populated country as ours this is no matter to gloat over. Its total GHG emissions may be counted substantial. Same is the case with China.Paradoxically, global warming may appear a welcome change for cold desert areas. Large tracts under permafrost can be brought under cultivation consequent on warming. Nearer home, desolate cold deserts of Ladakh and Lahaul-Spiti seem to be happily warming up to global warming. A decade ago nobody could have imagined of growing apples in Lahaul. As of now, lakhs of apple saplings have been planted there, thanks to approaching warmer climes. On the contrary, in lower areas around Kullu township, orchards have ceased to yield apples due to cut-down on requisite cooling time span.

If we have the capacity of altering the course of an asteroid then I do not understand that why do we have doubt on things like saving te planet from Global Warming which is caused by US only.
If we can stop Polio then why cant we Fight to eradicate the damages being done by Global Warming?If we just sit and say that nothing can be done then of course,we are doomed. but if we try, I am sure, everything is possible.

global warming solution
i suppose that planting trees is a good idea. but read the national geographic this month and you will realize whats happening to the amazonian rain forest. the scheme that they thought would succeed now lies in ruins. but they still continue to fell trees in the rain forest and mind you the people felling trees are not poachers.They are government approved contractors why? the needs of the society again.The society needs wood, they need farmland. They do not think twice before felling a tree which could provide them with valuable timber, "to hell with the environment" thats what a society thinks. The only way we can do something is to raise some real awareness is spread the word and really convince people at the grass root to stop polluting because its these people that don't give a damn what happens to the environment. once these people understand it will be slightly easier job to convince the other corprate biggies about what they are doing...

Look for alternate "workable" fuel solutions. solutions that are low cost and high use. face it people are the biggest misers. why would they switch to another source of fuel if its costlier than the previous one? and of-course human population also is one of the biggest issues that we are faced with.. the more of us there are, the more strain we put on the environment most importanly, water on a more lighter note,maybe we should leave this planet terraform mars and start living there:)
