Like all bad habits this bad habit of biting is generally acquired at an early stage. The dog when it was a puppy it started nipping and this nipping had been unchecked. The owner at that time had taken it lightly, had not attached much importance, or had even taken it as a play or a game.

This indulgence on the part of the owner had soon the bad seeds and ultimately when the dog is older and when it comes of the age its biting stays on as a bad habit. It is needless to say that this biting will cause the owner much worry and inconvenience, besides physical hurt that of course goes with all biting.

One owner loved his dog much and was blind to his (dog) faults. He kept his eyes shut to the fact that his dog had left the puppy days way behind and was now matured. The dog, or rather the bitch surpassed her master in cunning and before the master, that is, as long as the master was home she played the part of a docile pet, as if butter would not melt in her mouth.

Behind the master this pet started biting the children and needless to say that these bites became more and more serious, but the master always turned a deaf ear to the complaints and even the bite-marks on others appeared as superfluous scratches. Ultimately, the master had to pay for this indifference and inactivity. Came the day at last the bitch was sufficiently grown by then-when she turned on the master and bite him.

The bite was not serious; more of a protest gesture by the bitch, but the master was struck cold, so to say. For him it was a bolt from the blue. The master was shaken. He did not know what to do. To ask for or seek advice did not occur to him. He just let things by, thinking that it was a passing phase.

The master thus made a great mistake. He let the bitch have her way. The bitch began pressing home her advantage. She (bitch) began using her teeth off –hand, not seriously through, nevertheless putting the teeth mark here and there on the different members of the household. The master was still in a state of shock and confusion. He carefully and deeply (now, at this state) looked at the bitch and tried to pacify her by patting put got only deep glows from the pet and the master started becoming a little scared.
