Once Buddha was walking from one town to another town with a few of his followers. This was in the initial days. While they were traveling, they happened to pass a lake. They stopped there and Buddha told one of his disciples, “I am thirsty. Do get me some water from that lake there.” The disciple walked up to the lake. When he reached it, he noticed that right at that moment, a bullock cart started crossing through the lake. As a result, the water became very muddy, very turbid. The disciple thought, “How can I give this muddy water to Buddha to drink!” So he came back and told Buddha, “The water in there is very muddy. I don’t think it is fit to drink.” After about half an hour, again Buddha asked the same disciple to go back to the lake and get him some water to drink. The disciple obediently went back to the lake. This time he found that the lake had absolutely clear water in it. The mud had settled down and the water above it looked fit to be had. So he collected some water in a pot and brought it to Buddha. Buddha looked at the water, and then he looked up at the disciple and said,“See what you did to make the water clean. You let it be…. and the mud settled down on its own – and you got clear water. Your mind is also like that! When it is disturbed, just let it be. Give it a little time. It will settle down on its own. You don’t have to put in any effort to calm it down. It will happen. It is effortless.” What did Buddha emphasize here? He said, “It is effortless.” Having ‘Peace of Mind’ is not a strenuous job; it is an effortless process! Have a peaceful Life

This story might do nobody any good. At the end of this narration, you may accuse the journalist for fouling a comfortable nest. People may accuse Harry for been given the hospitality to heretical and even dangerous ideas. Harry was an editor - good, silent, obedient, comfortable and complacent and has built in allergy to unpleasant and disturbing information like any of us. He had to investigate and report the murder of his father. He knew that the MLA did this deed. Harry was depressed at the same time he wanted retribution, but fear of death held him back. He was afraid of the consequences which reporting against a politician would bring. Harry knew that if what he writes is responsible, he alone is responsible for the doing of it. He knew that if he did not reveal the truth, it would be a true evidence of decadence; escapism and insulation from the realities of the world in which we live in. He believed in the saying that – “history will be what he make it”. If he goes on as he is, then history will take its revenge and retribution will not limp in catching up. Harry looked 3 lines in Shakespeare’s Cesar and found this line which is not altogether inappropriate – “The Fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars but in ourselves.”. This made Harry to think. He understood that men should not walk with fear for one another. He will not be driven by fear into an age of unreason. He realized that he was not a descendant of a family who feared to write, associate, speak or even to defend the causes that were at the moment unpopular. Harry believed 20 years ago and still do, that mature people can engage in conversation and controversy; the clash of ideas with difference without being contaminated or converted. He also believed his faith, conviction and determination is stronger than others are and that he can be successful not only in the area of reasoning but also in the area of words. Words will always retain their power - Words of the meanest meaning, for those who has the will to understand. He decided to pen down the truth. Next day, the organization gave him the pink slip. He felt no bitterness, as he was sure that the enlightenment received on this subject by a few million people would determine the future of this country. He knew what he did was right and had nothing to lose. The newspaper had become an instrument for entertainment purpose only. However, it can be used to enlighten and inspire provided, humans are determined to use it effectively otherwise, it is merely a waste paper.

1. 90% of the accidents occur on 500 dangerous curves located on the different highways allover the state. no proper measures have been taken to restrict the speed at that curves 2. no road in andhrapradesh state is designed for a speed beyond 100kmph but we can see vehicles like cars bikes and volvobuses plying at a speed exceeding 100kmph.. why the vehicles are designed for a speed and why they are allowed on indian roads 3. 70% of the vehilces (including rtc buses) dont have half paint for their lights which has a disastrous effect on the driver coming ahead. no one is monitoring this rule 4.most of the dividers and roundabouts are designed in such a way that in case of an accident either the divider is damaged or the vehicle is damaged.BUT THE IDEAL DIVIDER OR ROUND ABOUT IS THE ONE WHICH IS DESIGNED SUCH THAT IT CAUSES MINIMUM DAMAGE TO THE ROADUSER EVEN WHEN SOMEONE HAS MET WITH AN ACCIDENT 5. minumum setback distance must be present when a tree or a agricultural well is located . the setback distance for the agricultural well is nearly half kilometer. but we often come across the cases where the vehicles fell in to the well which are adjacent to the road 6. there are many instances where the vehicles have overturned at the curves. the superelevation was not properly provided in most of the cases. and in some other cases overspeeding was the problem 7. vehicles which are parked aside the road dont use blinkers and as a result there are chances of accidents. incase the dippers are not functioning people should use treebranches or red cloths to indicate that the vehicle is parked.

I moved inside the castle .. it was dark, and I held the 9mm pistol firmly in my hand, aiming at the dark entrance infront of me. I slowly moved inside and turned to my left only to find an alien bending its legs to leap over me. I raised the weapon, adjusted the aim .. right at the head, the creature was in the air by now, its colossal figure looming large over me .. that cannibal was about to finish me, when I just let the bullet go off. BANG and it was down. Last breath blowing the dust on the ground and it was a history. I turned round .. reloading the pistol .. when I felt something pointed peneterating my back .. I felt the pain, I was down on the ground as the spear had found its way across my torso. I could see darkness infront my eyes and I fainted -GAME OVER!- the message flashed on the screen. I clenched my fist and banged the desk .. "SHIT!" It was my n-th unsuccessful attempt of clearing the penultimate stage of the game. More so for the best hands (and mind) in the business, it was a a thorn in the neck. Really painful. I streched out on my chair ... flexed my fingers, took another sip of the coffee (that had become cold by now) and grabbed the mouse (for guiding the motion), a finger placed on the space-bar(this one for firing the bullets) and my eyes stuck to the monitor. The battle was still on and fate reloaded ... I moved inside the castle .. it was dark, and I held the 9mm pistol firmly in my hand...

One day beside a sea I was fishing, Suddenly I felt there is something in the net and when I saw it…It was most special GOLDEN FISH! As in the ocean of world one wants to have a friend who is most special with heart Golden, Look I was fortunate to have her now in my life.. the most special one! I was amazed to see her in my palm, My heartbeats were going fast but I was making them calm. My emotions got over me and feeling her pain (of being without water)…I lost my grip, In fraction of second it was end of meeting an angel on a beautiful trip. Oh, hand is empty now and she is back in the sea again, In this moment my heart started pumping high and everything got blank in the brain… I was standing like a passenger who has missed his only train. All what I was having now in my hand was her warmth and an eye full of tear. Just then I realized that I am on bed in night with a dream and there is no body near. Emotions were same but in heat of life’s reality instead of fish I had lost my friend, Fate has once again ruined me only this is the gist and story’s end.

We met at a usual September day Though we both were new, we both gave it all away I sat next to you, my head down in fright “Hello,” you said, you voice happy and bright We talked, we ate, we won, we lost We made decisions as well as plans We even made our own small band We said to be together at every cost “Friends Forever,” you said Exchanging bracelets, I agreed We danced like a pair of birds freed But now we remember those good days Alas, you have to go You moved to a different school As time passed, we only called after a month or so Thus we remember but we still have to grow I picked up the phone and say “I must…” Before putting it down like everyday It’s a funny thing that we love and forget But still in our hearts, we remember those days…
