STARRING: TIM ROBBINS, MORGAN FREEMAN, BOB GUNTON
WRITTEN BY: STEPHEN KING (novel), FRANK DARABONT (screenplay)
DIRECTED BY: FRANK DARABONT

If i was held at a gunpoint and asked to pick one movie which i would consider my personal favorite of all times this should be tat movie. I totally fell in love with this movie and I have watched it for... ahem... i have lost the count. This movie celebrates the spirit of humanity, independence, friendship, hope and the sense of belonging. Isn’t it just about everything that we live for.

The movie revolves around the long imprisonment of young banker ANDY DUFRESNE (Tim Robbins) in the fictional SHAWSHANK prison. He is wrongly convicted for killing his wife who had an affair with someone else. Every emotion he goes through in the prison is something which will stay with you for eternity. The torture by the JAIL FACULTY and by the SISTERS who eventually rape him, the friendship and warmth by the gang of RED and RED himself the monopoly and bureaucracy of the jailor, ANDY's intelligence and his way of life will forever stay with u. If anybody has missed this movie... its hightime... u catch it

Rating 10/10

School of Rock
