This restaurant, located on the crowded main road of Gandhi Bazaar, was established long back in 1943 and has been maintaining its stand ever since then. It is very famous for the ghee-fried Masala Dosa which is served with coconut chutney. People throng in large numbers and there is a faily long waiting time at the restaurant.

The pencil sketches on the wall, of great Kannada people are a special attraction.

We went to the restaurant twice or thrice for the dosa. There was a fairly long waiting time, but, the wait and the price is very much worth the taste of the dishes. The taste of the crispy masala dosa lingers in the mouth, even hours after having it.

The atmosphere was homely, but a bit noisy. The ambience was not so great. The service was good.
