Do you read before answering questions?

I found some people jump on writing an answer just reading a few initial words! Do you read the question fully before answering it?

I sincerely read all questions and also try to understand what answer really is needed by the asker. I too have noticed the tendency of most people who just read a few keywords and post something related to those words, but not the actual answer. All in an effort to win some easy points, no doubt!

Of course yes, how will it be possible to write an answer without going through the question fully? There are thoughts towards the end of the questions too. So, if I miss them, the answer won't be according to the question.

I read questions most of the time and answer to the point, may be add on some points and thoughts of my own which may differ from what is being discussed, however, related to it in some form or the other...

I read the questions. I'll be lying to myself if I don't say, at times, I overlook. But, definitely, I can say, there are no ulterior sinister motives in my mind.

I read question very well to answer below. Moreover, sometimes I ignore other's answers. I feel question is more important and that must be read properly before answering it be it in school exams or in internet sites.
