difference between AutoPlay and autorun?

Auto play allows you to play to start different kinds of Media like Music CDs. Autorun allows to start programs automatically when you insert CD or another media type into your computer

 

There is no difference between both. Both are used to play content automatically.

It is just an english substitute words, but in system it is used for specific purposes like Autoplay is used for Media content and Autorun is used for Apps run in system automatically.

I think both have same purpose but it call different for different file. I mean if we insert some music cd then it will come with Auto play feature while software CD will come with Auto run option... But both of them having same function to run thing automatically directly from that option.

Well on other hand Autorun is a techology used to run some programs automatically when you insert a cd or other media type in to your computer.
