I am not sure but definitely if you write something unique and of good quality your blog has chance to come in alexa rank.

Well, its automatic.. Just keep posting and make sure that you have added your blog in different search engine.. As your traffic increase it will automatically get listed in Alexa.. We don't having any feature for adding it on that site manually.

I think it is automatic and take your website details from the web directories like Open Directory Project. They calculate statistics from various resources including but not limited to Alexa Toolbar etc.
