Apart from working in an IT company what are the other private sectors that will recruit IT people?

BPO requires back office staffs in which IT students are required. Government also recruit IT officers in various departments.

Well IT sector is greatly booming since 5years, which made it harmful during the economy drop-down time.

Few IT companies have made themself strong enough to withstand any crisis or recession.
Apart from IT core companies, the IT section in other sectors like Electrical / Mechanical / Construction / & others do have IT engineers in their Support Functional departments.

Mainly Networking within the company & its group. Programming also have a role to play when it implementing software modules like SAP or ORACLE based.

Job security is higher in other companies for IT engineers but they recruit very less if compared to IT sector.

Sticking to the core industries is the best way to built a better & successful career.
