Sarojini Naidu, besides being an active Social worker, she is one of the renowned poetess in the world.She started writing poetry right from her childhood. The literary world hailed her as the 'Nightingale of India'.

I dont know many except Sarojini Naidu and Amrita Preetam and I like Amrita Preetams poems , no doubt they were sensuous but she had an abandon that is rare among Indian women. She was a controversial person but lived life on her own terms ..
