No one is ever a single founder of any country per se, there are some who discover a country and many number of leaders who actually make a country something worthwhile. In this instance, its Columbus who is credited with discovering American continent, in reality he was not the first but only first known European to have done so.
This is one question that makes me feel 'did anyone really find a country'
In fact the country was always there and bubbling with activities when people from other places came and took control at gun point. And that made them founders. My question is - was a country a Barron land at the time of its 'discovery'?
An Italian navigator Christopher Columbus is the first man who discovered America. But the country is named after another Italian navigator called Amerigo Vespucci. Columbus found a new world in America, but Vespucci was the first man who recognized that it was a new world. This is the reason why America got the name AMERICA.
