There were many names of our country:
Bharatvarsh
Bharat
Aryavarta

Note : Hindukush was never the name of our country . The Hindu Kush is a Mountain Range in Afghanistan and Northern Pakistan and is the westernmost extension of the Himalayan Range.

India has been known in the past by 'Aryavrata'  and 'Bharata'.    'Aryavrata'  ids after the Aryans who inhabited the country. 'Bharata' is derived from dushyanta Shakuntala'  son Bharata.  There is also ancient name for the country- 'Hindukush'.  The Indus valley civilization  is the origin of the name 'Hindukush', 'Hind' and 'India'.
