Why most of the students don\'t like History?

History is well written documentation. History is not about dates only. It demands a literary finesse.

My mathematics teacher used to tell history is the past life of the celebrities.

Well, even I had many troubles in my days. I guess in history we have remember many things like dates, places, old names and many more. So it feel like boring.

May be because it has very big answers and have to remember dates and names etc, may be this is the reason. But I love history

It is quite hard to remember all years and written documents.

We need to write many things to answer just one question of 5 or 10 marks. Hence we should remember the dates and long history behind all facts. This makes the subject boring. During examination students become crazy. Hands starts paining. Yet many a times history paper remains incomplete to answer. That disgusts students a lot. Adhere to this, Civics makes history paper more difficult. It becomes tough to score good marks in this subject.

I feel students are more inclined towards Sciences, Arts, Commerce.
