For simple reasons, too many holidays, dates by clients to keep the cases going and consuming time and last but not the least police not taking proper interest to finish them off. Same goes for government advocates, they do not prepare them to submit in courts or take further dates..

Delayed justice is to be blamed on the lawyers who in the pretext of earning more money from there client do not try hard enough to and thus the dates for judgement keep pushing forward...our legal system needs to be revamped...and only then pending cases can be dealt with quickly and fairly.

There are far too many cases - there is a shortage of judges and there are constant transfers and study tours for them, all of which tend to sow down the legal system.Civil cases tend to take a decade or two to get sorted out
