Definition of monsoon in poetric or philosophical thought....

Monsoon (or simply rain) - I like rainy season most. Nature refreshes itself and looks most beautiful soon after rain. If you carry a poet or poetess in your mind, how will you define rain/monsoon in your thoughts? What will be your definition if you are a bit philosophic?

Also mention your favourite monsoon song.... Bole Re Pappihara by Vani Jayaram is one among my personal favourites, Rhimjhim Gire Saawan, O Sajna and Boondom Se Baatein of Thakshak among the others. Bollywood has some wonderful songs comparing tears to rain. But I choose songs on monsoon.

A comfortable reclining chair , a cup of tea by the side and a book in hand is the best way to spend a rainy afternoon..

A couple of my favorite rain songs are pyar hua ikraar hua , rhimjhim ke tarane leke aayi barsat , bheegi bheegi Raton mein..

I like the silence and transformation of nature that happens in Autumn. It is a very pleasant environment to be a part of and enjoy every bit of it's beauty. The leaves falling presents a very cinematic sight to behold and enjoy the moments.
