Fairness creams usually have contents of bleach that gives a temporary fairness. The natural color remains as it is as it is a character of the genes. Just keep your face clean and eat healthy to maintain the natural glow. :)

Never use creams that are made with chemicals. Creams that are made with natural ingredients can make you fair. I would recommend you to chase diet to make your skin healthy rather than fairer :)

My skin is sensitive. I use only cold cream which suits my skin. I have natural fair complexion. I don't want fairer look more than that. It will otherwise effect my skin. I sometimes use face pack which is prepared at home. It makes my skin soft, clean and healthy.

Home made fairness creams are good for skin, but the fairness creams made form chemicals can make you fair and clear the marks on face, and at the same time it will dry the skin

Well, even I thinks that they just give temporary effects, and yes not all of them do the same. Some of them can produce reverse effects, so better go with natural resources and remedy which have no side effects.

I never use fairness cream, rather i use cold cream, especially in winter which doesn't makes my skin dry.
