Does drinking Yakult regularly provide any significant benefits?

Is it okay to drink yakult regularly or it does not make any difference?

According to some it does ! But it has very little protein and made from artificial materials besides being expensive ! I would prefer to have home made curds instead which is about the same composition but far more healthier besides being a natural product and relatively inexpensive !

Yakult is a good dairy product.It's help us to improves digestion and prevents infection.
But it contains sugar.So, it is not so good for diabetic patients.

I am not sure of the benefits of Yakult..but I prefer having curd instead..just like Usha has mentioned already. Also, I once went to More super market to buy yakult..but was disgusted to see a quite old, expired version being kept there on the shelf, which apparently had many tiny organism,...i just could not go ahead with it.

It is in fermented milk available in every store here that has beneficial bacterium called Lactobacillus casei Shirota strain., this is very good for digestion purpose. This bacteria has the unique capacity to reach to the small intestine alive that is not possible for some others useful ones due to gastric juices killing them on the way.
