Vegetables can be grown even in an apartment ...

Tomatoes, chilies,curry leaves and mint are some of the vegetables that can be grown in the balcony in pots and even on windowsills..

Well, if the place is having proper sunlight then surely it can be grown.

You can use your apartment for growing vegetables. Vegetable that occupy a large space is not applicable. Grow vegetable that take less light and water.

Vegetables can be grown in all sorts of tubs, broken buckets, even in empty Package boxes. The only requirement is, they should have a drain so that water is not stagnated. Of course depending on the type of vegetable you should see its light and shade requirements.

Of course vegetables can be grown in pots provided there is adequate lighting, sunlight, good soil and most important of all is to water the plants regularly.

Yes, only a little efforts and willpower to do so is required. I have been growing curry leaves, mint, lemon grass, green bell peppers etc for the last few years. I even had broad beans last year.

Yes we can grow some of the plants in an apartment as we have some limitations in the apartment because of not having enough space....

Yes vegetable and herbs can be grown in your balcony or window. I tried mint, garlic, onion, mustard and fenugreek in disposable glasses and trays .They turned out pretty well. So guys do try it.

Yes I have grown many vegetables and plants in tubs. It is a good experience. I have green chilli, capsicum, dhania leaves, etc.

Yes we can plant plants in pot ,like tomato,chilles, bringal,curry leave . Even we can plant leafy vegetables also.my mom did all these in pots only

Herbs , chillies, tomatoes , spinach are all easy to grow on a terrace since they do not require much space nor care. Water, a well drained fertile soil and plenty of sunshine should be provided..

The movie gave a strong message which urges the need of pesticide-free crops and vegetables to be cultivated in our own available spaces, instead of importing from other states. The movie marked the comeback of Malayalam's top actress of 1990s Manju Warrier after 15 years and her presence made a huge impact on Kerala's social life, and the message of the movie was well-conveyed.

You may not believe, the impact of the movie was so huge that during next Onam season, import of vegetables from Tamil Nadu received a huge blow and witnessed huge losses. People became more health conscious and many unwanted lands were converted to vegetable-production. During Onam season, most vegetables supplied here belonged to our own lands. The procedure is still continued, a welcome move from educated Keralites
