Dinkar D. Patil and Dada Saheb Phalke Award

I have read from Wikipedia of Marathi director Dinkar D. Patil that he has received Dada Saheb Phalke Award. When I searched found in web, he received it in the year 2002. But when I checked Wikipedia page of Dada Saheb Phalke Award, the receiver is none other than Dev Anand. As far as I know, it's correct.



So, please clear my doubt. Has Dinkar D. Patil been honoured with Dada Saheb Phalke Award?

He was honored with Dada Sahab Phalake award in 2002. Just refer to wikipedia page on Dinkar D. Patil. However, on checking some other sites, it appears trhat yash Chpra was awarded in 2001 and Devanand in 2002. The name of Diwakar Patil does not appear. Apparently, the information on the page mentioned by me is wrong. Wikipedia is contributed by numerous contributors and is not so authentic. The site pertaining to Dada Sahab Phalke award is definitely more authentic and reliable. Hence let us conclude that Diwaka D. Patil was not given this award though he might have been considered. I shall check some more source also. I have edited this after receiving a query from Sandhya.

I think Phalake award awarded only to one person every year. Deva Ananad is right answer.
