Mohammad rafi was a great singer, there is absolutely no doubt about it since many actors are remembered more because of the songs they sang on screen than their roles...Rafi sang for almost all the actors of his time. According to you which 3 ( or more ) of the following actors did his voice suit the most?

No doubt, rafi has sung exceptionally well for all these actors and played a significant role in their film success as well.
I personally feel that his voice best suits for Rajendra Kumar. But my personal favourite is Shammi Kapoor-Rafi pair, the lovely pair which prompted me to love old Hindi songs since my childhood days. I have a lot of favourite songs in this combination pair. Yet I feel that no other singer can match the personality and mannerisms of Jubilee Kumar...Mere mehboob, Baharom Phool barsao, Yaad na aaye, E Phoolom ki rani.....being the best instances. They compliment each other. Another choice could be Dev Anand, though Kishore Kumar has also sung many funny songs for this legendary actor.
Rafi's voice is universal. He has the ability to adjust his voice to the actor on the screen. But according to given list, my choice is Dilip Kumar (Na Aadmi Ka Koi Bharosa),Shammi kapoor ( Chahe koi mujhe Junglee Kahe) and Rajendra Kumar (Yaad Na jaye Beetey Dinon ka).
Though the name Johnny walker was not given in the list, I would like to add Maalish, Tel Maalish pictured on the comedian just to stress on the range of this illustrious singer Rafi
It is not the actor but tone of the song that matters. For serious and slow songs, Mohammad Rafi is best. But for fast songs and cabaret dance numbers, Kishor Kumar is better. For duets, ideal combination is Mohammad Rafi and Lata Mangeshkar; and Kishor Kumar and Asha Bhonsle. The voice of play back singer cannot imitate actors. voice. We see the difference but enjoy the movie even clearly watching the voice difference.
Mohammad Rafi's voice seemed to have been made solely for Shammi Kapoor, it fitted so well with his flirty, casual and happy-go-lucky disposition, followed perhaps by Joy Mukherjee to an extent but not as well as Shammi's. When we watch those songs, it actually feels like Rafi sang in that uniquely distinct style ONLY for Shammi Kapoor! They are so synonymous together!
Personally I feel that it suits all the actors that I have mentioned but Dilip Kumar and Shammi Kapoor have had the best of songs sung for them and Rafis voice suits them like no other ...
