Your most favourite songs of year 2016

2016 is running in its last lapse. In terms of music, I don't think it was a good year for Bollywood music....only we heard music a bit louder. I extremely loved songs from Fitoor and Sanam Tere Kasam, and also a couple of songs from E-Dil Hai Mushqil, Kapoor & Sons, Mohenjo Daro and Ki & Ka.

I liked the Tamil version of one song 'E Sandakkara' /"Dil Ye Ladaku"of Saala Khadoos (Irudhi Sutru). I loved its Tamil lyrics and rendering also.

It's a big disappointing year for Malayalam in terms of music too. But had some experimental and fresh theme movies. Songs of 'Oppam', 'Kali' and the latest viral song, Jnanum Jnaanumentaalum are my favourites. What about you?

As far as my favorite songs of the year 2016 are concerned, its an utter disappoint for me too, be it in Telugu movies or in  Hindi Movies. what all I hear and is noise and meaningless Dances.Nothing else.

This year was a huge disappointment for music. 

However I liked that background track of Neerja _ jeete hai chal.

I am even liking the track of Dear zindagi.

Other than that, though not a song, I like the recitation of the inspiring poem at the end of PINK

Sandhya Rani unfortunately 100s of songs are churned out every year giving preference to dance numbers. None of them last in our memory for a long period. Tunes and voices too look similar nowadays. - Sandhya Rani - 7 years ago

Sandhya Rani songs of Fitoor and Sanam Tere Kasam are nice. There is one song 'Hal-E-Dil Mera' from Sanam Tere Kasam. Listen the female version on youtube sung by Neeti Mohan. There is one fast number 'Tu Keech Mere Photo' sung by same singer. "Pashmira' of Fitoor is my mobile ring tone for past 6 months or more.
