Which are the best beaches in India?

I want to know which are the best beaches of India which have attracted a lot of tourism.

When you say the word Beach, the first one that comes to mind is Goa, which has no doubt the best beaches in all of India where you can enjoy a lot many adventurous activities such as wind surfing, parasailing and mobike riding etc. It also attracts the major share of foriegn tourists in India.

Although personally, I prefer the beaches of Konkan in Maharashtra because they are not only blessed with serene beauty but are also free from marauding crowds, my favorite beach is Ladghar in Dapoli district.

In India there are lots of beaches. I would say that the natives speak about beaches they stay nearby. In Kolkata, Digha is famous. In Orissa, Puri is famous. In Chennai, Marina Beach is famous. In Maharashtra, Juhu is famous. Goa is the best for tourists. It is State as well as a territory of India. Goa Beaches are the best in whole India.

Goa has some of best beaches and also my place Mangalore which has white sand and very clean beaches.We have Ullal beach,Someshwar,Tannerbavi,Panambur and Surathkal beaches all of which are beautiful ...

I have been to many beaches. I enjoyed Goa beaches a lot and they are invariably good. Another name that comes to my mind ins Puri beach which I liked very much.
