Things which can take/keep your blog rank down
Blogging is the best way to show talent to the world. And I have seen many people used to keep one or more blogs. But there is no meaning if they don’t able to get traffic on their blogs. I mean what is meaning of posting if they are having no readers. So after making a blog, having traffic on it is the next important work to do. Now I don’t know how many of you have heard about blog rank. But search engine like Google used to give rank to such blogs for categorized traffic on them. If blog is having less rank they will get less traffic. Such ranking system depends on many factors. So it is important to know about those factors and keep our blog rank up. Now to keeping our blog rank up, first we need to know that which things can take or keep our blog rank down. So we can avoid it and have good rank for our blog. Here they are:
Content Quality: Content quality is the most common requirement. You should post all your content with good quality. You need to post all your content with proper English and grammar. More mistakes in grammar and other things can ruin your content’s quality. So if your blog is not having proper and quality content it can keep your blog away from the good ranking. So make sure that you are not compromising with the quality of your content. Give enough time for writing and write well.
Duplicate Content: As I mentioned above content quality is most important thing. But with that you also need to take care about unique content. You can’t just copy paste others write up on your blog. Even you rewrite those content by yourself it will not do well for you as there will be nothing uniqueness in it. So make sure that you are not posting duplicate content on your blog. Post unique and your own though on your blog which can do well for you than that duplicate content. Duplicate content is one of the big reasons which can keep your blog down. So avoid it.
Broken Links: First let me tell you about broken links. If link is redirecting to the page or website which is not exist or got deleted or something can be called broken links. Search engine like Google surely gives more importance to such broken links. If some site is having such broken links then it can affect its Google page indexing process which is really bad for site’s rank. So make sure that you don’t having such broken link for your blogs otherwise it can impact your blog rank. In fact it will work negatively for you. So don’t take this thing in ease and keep your guard up.
Inactivity: This is also common thing in many bloggers. User starts their work with all excitement and efforts but after few weeks they start losing interest from their own blog. And in the end they just make their blog dead. Let me tell you such inactive blogs lose their blog rank gradually. Google search engine bots don’t give more importance to such inactive blog and in the end you will lose your traffic by lot. So without traffic there is no value of blog. So that’s why even activity on any blog is matters. So make sure you are not running an inactive blog otherwise it will lose its rank and in the end you have to delete it as it will give you no output.
Use of Keywords: It is always said that we should use famous keyword on our blog to get good results. Well, that is true; we should have keep in mind about those keywords when we are writing something. But sometime people use same keyword too many times by purposely to get more attention from the search engine. Let me tell people handling these search engines are not fool, they are very smart and if they will found the thing that you are using same keyword with purpose then it can impact on your blog ranking badly. I am not telling to stop use of such keywords. But they should be used with aiming for getting more traffic and get more attention from search engines. Such step can produce reverse effect without your notice. So make sure you get all information regarding usage of keywords in any content. Use all keywords in proper manner and your blog rank will be fine.
Ads position: I got this information from my friend. As per few Google panda rules position of ads can also impact on your page rank of your site or blog. If user is posting ads more than required on one page then it is surely not good for its page rank. Same thing goes for don’t give more importance to ads earning in compare of your content and viewers. Don’t mix up ads with your content or don’t put ads above the content. Always give priority to your content first and then on ads. For simple don’t put any kind of ads in content area, it will be not problem if you put ads on sidebar or top bar. Content section should be clean enough so that readers can read your posts clearly. So this thing is sounds logical to me. Position of ads can surely affect blog ranking in this way. So better we put ads in proper way so that it doesn’t affect the blog rank. If our blog rank will be high then automatically we will get high traffic and in the end it is good for our revenue purpose too. So keep this thing in mind and change your ads position if it isn’t posted properly.
So make sure that you are following all above things and your blog rank will do fine for you. Don’t be lazy in following any kind of small thing which can benefit your blog. Such small things always matter. Like this way only your blog will improve and start giving you good results as you expect from it. So keep it up and all the best.
