What’s new in IOS 7?
Apple fan was waiting for new iphone version since long. But for now Apple has introduced new version of their IOS mobile operating system. Yes, now we are having totally new IOS 7 which has really good changes which can give good competition to new android version. First of all this new version is no more compatible with iPhone 3gs which is able to run IOS 6 the last version of IOS. But now it look like iPhone 3gs will not get any further updates. So this is little disappointing for iPhone 3gs users. But iPhone 4, iPhone 4s and iPhone 5 can easily update this new version with the help of the iTunes. Now let’s see what changes users will get in this totally updated IOS version.
Changes made in IOS 7
New design with good looking icons: As per Apple, they have changed designed in this new operating system version. Well, if we look at their photos given by Apple at their website, it sounds true as we can see lots of changes in it. They have made few changes in their previous icons and made them looking more beautiful now. They have also changed the background wallpaper than the last IOS version. It is having good looking network icon on the top. In short they have made lots of minor changes in their design which is making this new IOS version surely cool. I am sure users will enjoy this new design.
Control Center: In this new IOS you will found Control Center option which is totally separated thing from the notification bar. You can access this control panel by swapping your finger up side on the screen including lock screen. In control center you will get all those toggle buttons of wifi, Bluetooth, Network, Airplane mode, Brightness, etc. using which you can access those things quickly, no need to go into settings and all that. 
This control center is also having few other tools like music controller using which you can control your music during play, you will also get few shortcuts for useful apps like torch, calculator, camera, etc. So it is more like Android notification bar where you get all those toggle buttons. But here it is given totally separate from the notification bar and also with more options. So I really like this change using which we can handle things on our phone more quickly. It is surely better and was missing in the last IOS version.
Notification Center: Now as I mentioned Apple have given Control Center to give those toggle buttons completely separate from the notification bar. Here they have given notification bar named notification center which you can access by swapping down on the screen including from lock screen. As name suggest this tool will only serve you notifications. You can get all notifications from this area. You can get all today’s notification and also previous notification you missed. So with this notification you will not miss any kind of notification from your phone. It will serve you notifications from all the applications at one place.
Multi Tasking: Multitasking was there in the previous IOS but now it is having more cool effect. Now pressing home button two times you will get big windows of the applications you have opened previously. So you can easily switch to any application by selecting it. You can get as many windows on this section and can select any of them by swiping and selecting. You can also remove or close any of this application by swiping that window up side from this area. This will remove/close that particular application from the list. Android is having very similar function too named with recent app. But now Apple IOS is having cool looking multi tasking option in compare of android.
Improved Camera UI: IOS 7 is having great camera UI in compare of any previous IOS version. Now user can select different camera mode by just swiping modes available at the bottom of camera app. This camera app is having different modes like simple camera, video camera, panorama, square, etc. User will also get still option at the left bottom side from where they can access the recent photo or video taken by the phone. So these different modes and options surely make this camera option on IOS 7 cool.
Photos app: Now IOS 7 is having new app called Photos using which user can easily and speedily access their taken photos. But this is not just ordinary photo viewing application. Apple have made really cool photo viewer using which user can easily maintain and search their old photos. This new Photos app is having smart grouping option like Year, collection and all using it user can find out their old photos easily. Just click on year option and your photos will be automatically organized year wise so that you can easily select the perfect group of photos as per your trip and occasion wise. So IOS 7 is surely having better photos viewing option than previous IOS versions.
File sharing using Air Drop: Finally now iPhone users can exchange files among their iDevices using Airdrop application. There is no NFC although used in this application but this application use wifi or Bluetooth to transfer file on another iPhone. You don’t need wifi network to use wifi option for transferring. Both iPhone should have this air drop app which is only available in IOS 7 for now. But there is still disappointment as an iPhone user still can’t exchange data and files on other company’s smart phones over Bluetooth or wifi. But at least we got this option which is surely making this IOS version better in compare of any.
New feature in App Store: With IOS 7 Apple has introduced new feature in the app-store. Now you will get option of ‘Apps near me’ which will provide you applications related to your current location. So you can easily find out applications which are more useful to you as per your area which can be really handy. They also have kids’ category in the app-store which will be useful to found apps related to kids.
So this is it. With these I have explained almost all new changes made in IOS 7. They are all good and now they surely make iPhone much better option than past. I like all these new changes and can’t wait to use them.
Can IOS 7 beat new Android version?
Now this is big question that with all those changes can IOS 7 beat latest version of android operating system. Well, it’s still too early to say about this thing. Both are totally different operating system. But one thing is that with all those new changes made in IOS 7 like multi tasking, control center, etc. iPhone with IOS 7 can challenge any android smart phone for sure. So for me yes IOS 7 is having all those capability to give hard competition and challenge to latest android version. Even Google is thinking about to launch their new Android version 5.0 Key Lime Pie. So it will be great to see what new things they have got to give it with new version of android.
