How to connect one computer with other

If you want to set up a small business and you just want to share printer and one internet connection.

You can use router or switch or hub to connect the computers. The best suggestion is to buy a switch. Use network cables CAT-5 cable. Install a server.

Install a printer in a system and make it a share. You can share the printer to any of the computer or you may share the file to that particular system which has the printer.

For internet buy a broadband of bsnl with type II modem and connect it via cable to any of the system you want.

If you are planning for a local network, then you require a 8 port switch, cat5 cables equal to number of connections you will have and if it is not a network printer, then you will have to install the drivers on a PC and the share it.

 

If you are planning to share a network connection, the best and fastest method is going for a router. The router will have 4 lan ports too, which you can use to share you LAN PCs.
