How to Fix corrupted files in XP?

1.Windows XP operating system.
2.Windows XP cd.

Procedure:

1.Place the xp cd in your cd/dvd drive.
2.Go to start->Run->type cmd.
3.Type in command prompt 'sfc /scannow' (without the quotes).
Now it should all load, and fix all your corrupted file on windows XP.
