Adobe Premier Pro
With the software I've started to crop videos, edit brightness and colors & add some simple effects, which can be done on any other video editing software. But later I started experimenting with their effects & transitions and became interested in video editing.
Some great tools
Chroma key: Chroma key feature which is available under Keying' category is one of the features I've liked the most. Earlier I used to change background of the images and add more than one figure of a same person on a picture (multiple roles). But I never expected to do such things with a video, but Adobe Premier Pro gave me the option to do that. With Chroma key I was able to change the background of videos
Lightning effect: It's a great effect, as we see in movies; we can add real looking lightning on our videos. I used it one many of my videos and it really helped me to impress my friends. I was able customize the effect according to my preference. We are able to apply different style of light effects such as directional, elliptical etc. We can also control the color, intensity etc. of the light. The best of all is that we can add light effect in a very natural and realistic way!
Motion control: When I was creating a video of my friend's marriage function by inserting photographs, I decided to make some photos fly above the other for making video a little more impressive and for this I've used the motion control feature. I've also used this feature to make video on which I myself fly above mountains and seas. This is another tool to create some movie effects to your video.
There are so many other options to edit your video. We can add light and edit their properties entirely. I've used this feature to create entrance scenes of WWE superstars such as Undertaker and Kane.
Yet there are some things I except from Adobe Premier Pro. Many video editing software I've used can also be used as video converters since we can save our movie file with so many file formats. But in Adobe premier Pro, there are very few formats. This is the only problem I've found. But I think Adobe can make it better by allowing the users to create effects like fire effect just like lightning effect. Anyway Adobe Premier Pro is the best video editing software I've found. They've launched their CS4 version of this software, but I guess there won't be many improvements for the price of the new edition. Anyway professional video editors may be benefitted from it since slight improvements may help them a lot in their profession.
