Today we can see many things around us in this world all are automated, all the equipments are woking in its own and correct way similar to human being. Let us see the fruitful and harmful effects in this techno development around us.

In Agriculture:

The Agriculture is the main source for our food, besides being backbone of many developing and developed countries. This agriculture is improved by the technology which may be good thing to hear but the real fact behind this is that it is lost irreversibly by this employing these modern techniques.

An example that can be mentioned for this is that, the latest technologists advice to use chemical ferttilizers and pesticides. These are givenig good yield but they are causing a great impact on the consumers, because these plants absorb the chemicals in the pesticides and fertilizers. When these are consumed by us the humans then these chemicals enter into our body and cause many unknown diseases which are very dangerous and mostly carcinogenic.

These are the impact on us the human being there is a great impact by these activity in plants and the lands also. These pesticides and fertilizers change the insoluble nutrients and minerals in the soil and make them to be soluble allowing them to go off during the rainy seasons. Thus the fertility of the soil is reduced.

An Example for this can be, In Punjab and Haryana there was a loss of the micronutrient zinc in the soil due to the excessive use of fertilizers.

The Pesticides also have their own bad effects in the plants, basically pesticides are toxic to destroy the crop destroying pests. But these are absobed by the plants and thereby entering the food chain. Secondly the pesticides destroys not only the targetted pest but also the untargetted pest, which may be useful to our crops. The third major effect in this is that, when the pests are often sprayed with pesticides they become resistant to the pesticides and also to any pests thereby becoming a superpest.

Besides this there is use of plastics today which are the major cause for ground water depletion. Thereby degrading agriculture.

Thus in Agriculture the technological development has caused a short term beneficial effect and long term adverse effects. This conclusion says that it is better to employ green agriculture which is nature friendly.
