1. what did i study!!! and
2.why ?
I did Engineering in Mechanical... from MSU...
2. why did i select this stream
well, luck took me here... i wantd to select computer field... but...All in my family was directly related to computers... so my parents forced me to select any differnt...
After computer... Electronics & communication was better choice...
I got admission in E & C, in GCET colleage of Vidhya nagar...i spent 1 month there..
Then suddenly... there was increment in some colleage seat.. n some seat in some colleages raised due to reshuffling...
i got oppertunity to get back in MSU in Electronics.. but 1 vacant seat was full by the person exct above me...
n only 1 seat were there in MSU... which was of mechanical...
So, i decieded to shift in Mechanical... only because of MSU
3. what is the scope of this field...
Oh... After getting in Mechanical..... i Felt..mechanical is Everywhere....
From a simple nut-bolt to Rockets....
If we think of scope... Having two options of Diplomas and Degrees...
Working start with Field work, to designing.. Field work includes... Production, Manufacturing, Quality Control etc.... After few years in field... u can get senior most postion in ur department.... oppertunities in companies like IOCL, GM, Essar will always there,

If we think of scope... Having two options of Diplomas and Degrees...

Designing inculdes the Designing of various sector etc..Automobile, Machinery, PIPING design, through AutoCAD, Katia, etc etc softwares...
This industry never goes down... its demand remains forever... Also get the status of Engineer...
4. How you got admission there...
Let me explain in detail..
As i got 12th result... i had to wait for the advertisement of forms of engiineering.. This normally comes to All Newspapers!!!!

After reading in newspaper.... i need to purchase form.. from Faculty of Technology and engineering... Normaly this forms are avalilable from all the main engineering colleages of the city.... eg.. LD of ahmedabad...
remember... there creats so long queues... so... be quick to get the form...
After getting form...i need to attacth my required documents... which includes 10th and 12th marksheet... LC, Caste Certi (for SC /ST)....
Then.... after submitting the forms... they generate call later... after few days.. u need to appear at LD engineering for selection...
U need to bring fees of Rs. 5000 (for govt colleage) to Rs. 30000 (for Private institute...)...
During selection.. the regular updates about vacant seat are available in TV sets..at colleage..
n when ur turn comes...u are asked to make selection of top 5 colleage which you want to go... if seat availble .. u can get admission in any 1...
after selection of student need to submitt all the originals docs...with fees.

5. Abt Scholarships
Fees is very low As MSU is govt colleage....
Still who dont afford books... we have option of ST library...
Which is at Thankkarbapa Hostle, Nizaampura, who can get book at free of cost... even they can get accomodation at the same place at totally free of cost...

6. Earning with studies...
Its not an good idea to work during engineering...
Its better you spend your four years of engineering... with studies only... i mean... u can enjoy your life with extra activies!!

7. problems faced with studies
The main problem i faced after the time of admission:
I did my schooling from Gujarati Medium, An Engineering Was all in English medium...
So, I faced primarily language problem at initial stage!
Second, I was a very shy guy!! i didnt like to interact with other students, 1st due to comparision of percentage.... during introduction each 1 used to announse... with their great merit.. some got 80 % some got 90 percent etc etc... n at the time of my intro.. i used to tell my merit whch was very low... so from starting... some of classmate... kept me different as 'a student got admission from reserved seat'... therfore i used to study different from others... n because of half knowlege/less guidance i got ATKT in my 1st semester....
but as time passed... they all became my good friends.... i continu to get help of them.. in studies.. sharing materials... solving queries... etc ..friends helpd me alot in all stages of my education!!

As i explained earlier.... 1. U will get a status of an engineer..

why some1 wont choose this course
1. Who dont like to work, and earn money easily!!!
2. Who thinks to do master in management or somewhere else !!

My suggestion from my learning!!
For those !! who want to do study further after Enginnering !!
It advisable...if you got degree of an engineeer... if you love this field and you want to do masters ... atleast get work experinece of 2-5 years... and then go for management course, like MBA... u will get job in the same field.. after ur MBA.. at senior position...
still option is open for M.tech from IITs, and other colleages after engineering..
If you directly choose MBA after BE... u wont have any work ex.. like me.. you might get job in any financial/banking companies, in which i am working.... i still miss my engineerng n want to back in manufacturing sector... but facing problem of Recession, Cost cutting, Freezing of Recruitment in manufacturing units.....
