We all love green we all love our nature gift plants.
But not all plants are useful; some of them are very dangerous.
We should know what are the plants that are poisonous and harmful to our health sometimes also leading to death.
Let us see few of plants which are harmful and poisonous to human body.
Dieffenbachia [dumb cane] is a lovely green plant with broad leaves.
It is also known as dumb cane.
Eating this can make a person unable to speak
Leaves, stems, roots contain sharp caladium oxalate crystals.
When ingested the crystals causes burns of the mouth and tongue and sometimes paralysis of vocal cords.
Caladium got colorful multicolored leaves. Like the above it also contains caladium oxalate crystals and produces same results when ingested.
Vomiting and diarrhea also occurs after ingestion of any of these two plants.
Lantana also known as wild sage is a flowering shrub. With clusters of little red berries.
These berries are poisonous when ripe.
Its poison causes stomach upset, shock and sometimes also death.
Castor bean this is a real poisonous one which is very attractive to look at.
Chewing its seed can cause death.
It contains a poisonous substance called ricin.
Fox glove which contains beautiful flowers contains cardiac glycosides and used in making the drug digitalis.
It produces nausea vomiting diarrhea.
It also causes hyperkalemia and cardiac arrhythmias.
Next time be careful with new or attractive plants you find who know what poison is stored in that.
