WWW stands for World Wide Web. The world wide web is component of internet that provide access to large amount of information located on many different servers. The web also provide access to many of service available on internet.

The fundamental of web is the web page. Web page is text document that contain links to another web page, graphic and audios. Web page reside on server than run special software that allows user to access web page and to activate link to another web page and to another internet service. Ten to thousand of web server are currently connected to internet.

User can directly access any web page on one of these server and then follow the link to other page. Web page are created by using HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language). HTML is the creator of the web page specify how text will be displayed and how to link to other web pages files and internet services. To view a page, the user must use a special client package called as 'Web Browsers'. The first such browser capable of displaying graphic within a web page. e.g.

www.yahoo.com ; www.google.com ; www.boddunan.com

Web browser reed a specified web page using HTML commands within the web page to display information.
