Complemantary Adverisement..
First of all we have to know that what is advertising. Advertising is comes from the latin word advert which means to turn arround. Turn arround means turn the attention towards a particular thing. Say for example when you are going to any place in road you see a board then it turns your attaintion towards this board and you like to see the product or services advertise in that board.
Defination:
Advertising is defined as presentation and promotion of any product,idea,services in a particular manner.with a identified sponser and it must be in paid form.
Next question is what is complementary advertisement:
you have certainly seen the advertisement for macdowel soda. Wills club advertisement. but you cant find MC dowel soda in the market instead you got the Mc dowel Wishky and rum producr in the market.
It means the product which cause phisycal injury are not adverised in television according to some rule given bye indian agency so instead of giving the direct advertising of whisky the company use to complement the product and shows it as a soda. that is called complemantary adverisement.
