Procedure:

(A.) Background Effect:

1.) Open a new document with width- 640px and height- 160px.

2.) Fill the layer with the color, # 0f989d by using ALT + Backspace.

3.) Make another copy of the colored layer and name it, ‘Copy1’.

4.) Leave the original layer like that as no changes would be made for that. Leave the mode to normal.

 

5.) Select the copy 1 layer and select, Filter menu > Filter Gallery > Artistic > Sponge.

Settings: Brush size-2, Definition-12, smoothness -5 and click ok. Set the mode of this layer to ‘Saturation’.


6.) Now select the original layer and make another copy of it using CTRL + J and name the layer ‘copy 2’.

For this layer, we will apply light effects.

7.) Select the ‘copy2’ layer and select, Filter menu > Render > Lens flare > and set- Brightness- 115 % and select Lens type- 35mm Prime and move it to top right corner .

8.) Now select the Lens flare option again in the same layer( not using shortcut but by entering through, Render > Lens flare) and set the adjustments as > Brightness-75%, and lens type- Movie Prime and move the lens to left corner and place it in middle.

Set the mode of this layer to ‘Luminosity’.


9.) Make a copy of the above ‘copy2’ layer and name the copied layer as ‘copy3’.Simply set the mode of this layer to ‘Linear Burn’.

10.) Make another copy of the original layer and name it as ‘copy4’.Select the copy4 layer and use, Filter menu > Filter Gallery > Sketch > Water paper.

Set the mode as ‘Exclusion’.

11.) Make another copy of ‘Copy3’ layer and name it as ‘copy5’. Set the mode of this layer to ‘Difference’.

Note that, so far you have an original layer and 5 copies, therefore totally 6 layers contributing to the background. Keep I mind to follow the exact procedure. The layers should be in the following order.

(B.) Text Effect:

1.) The font for the text is- Lucida Fax, size-180px, and color- # 1daeec.

2.) Create pattern for Text.

We are not going to separately create any pattern. Select the Rectangle marquee tool and select the light area placed by in the middle of left side.

After making the selection, use Edit > Define pattern > and give a name for the pattern.

3.) Now select the text layer and apply the following Blending options(To see blending options,right click the layer):

 

a.) Bevel and Emboss settings:

b.) Texture settings under Bevel option:

Select the texture created above and set the scale at 162% and depth at -1000%

 

c.) Satin settings:

The satin color is # cd2626


d.) Stroke settings:

stroke

Note: Place the text on top of the background layers and leave the mode to normal.

You can merge all the layers to have the combined effect.
