Let us create two different Text style using simple filter options in simple steps.

 

A.) Procedure for Effect 1:

  • Open a new document of any size and have the background color as # 1f2322.
  • Select the Background layer, and duplicate the layer using CTRL + J to create another copy where some effect would be added.
  • Now select the above layer for background and use Filter menu > Filter Gallery > Texture > Grain and adjust the following settings.

  • Type a text (in this example, Text) Use,

Font- ‘Warnock Pro’ and Style-Regular

Size- 250pt and sharp effect.

Color - # 6b1010.

  • Create another copy of this Text layer using CTRL + J and rasterize the layer by Right click and selecting the option, ‘Rasterize Type’.
  • Hide the original Text layer and use the Rasterized layer. Create THREE copies of the rasterized layer.
  • For one copy of layer, use Filter menu > Filter gallery > Artistic > under painting.

Adjustments: (a.) Brush size > 6, (b.) Texture coverage > 16, Texture > Canvas, Scaling > 100%, Relief > 4, and Light > Top.The mode for this layer is ‘Normal’.

  • For another copy of layer, use Filter menu > Filter gallery > Sketch > Half Tone Pattern.

Adjustments: (a.) Size > 1 (b.) Contrast > 5 and (c.) Pattern type > Dot. The mode for this layer is ‘Overlay’.

  • For another copy of layer, use Filter menu > Filter gallery > Texture > Grain.

Adjustments: (a.) Intensity > 40 and (b.) Contrast > 50.The mode for this layer is ‘Linear Burn’.

The layers should be arranged as follows.

B.) Procedure for Effect 2:

  • Select the original Rasterized Text layer and create THREE copies
  • For one copy of layer, use Filter menu > Stylize > Tiles and set the number of tiles to -25.The mode for this layer is ‘Normal’.tile-25
  • For second copy of layer, use Filter menu > Stylize > Tiles and set the number of tiles to -50.The mode for this layer is ‘Difference’.
  • For third copy of layer, use Filter menu > Filter gallery > Artistic > Plastic Wrap.

Adjustments: (a.) Highlight strength > 14 and (b.) Detail > 9 and Smoothness > 7.The mode for this layer is ‘Difference’.

 

  • Now duplicate the Third copy with plastic warp and set the blend mode in Layer box to- ‘Pin Light’ with Fill opacity reduced to 80%.

The layers should be arranged as follows!

I have named the layers by the effect used for them .

Similarly you can create multiple layers with available filter effects.
