STEP 1 : Create a new layer and name it > Flower 1. Use the Ellipse shape tool and draw a very thin oval shape. Copy the shape and make 7 copies. You will have total of 8 oval shapes. Use the transform tool to rotate them and position them in such a way that you have 8 oval shapes representing 8 petals. Fill the 8 petals with color # F7931D (Orange shade). The stroke color is Black and stroke size is 1 px.

STEP 2 : Now select all the 8 petals ( SHIFT + select petals to select multiple petals at a time) and go to Object menu > Group to group them as one entity. Select the group of 8 petals and copy them using CTRL + C and paste them behind the original 8 petals using the option Edit manu > Paste in Back (that is CTRL + B).Once pasted the copied petals are automatically selected. Keeping it selected, change the color to # ED1C24 (Red shade). The stroke color is Black and stroke size is 1 px. You will not see the difference as they are placed behind. Keeping them selected, use the transform tool and rotate them. You will see them once rotated. Allign them properly. Hence totally you will have 16 petals with bi-colors.

STEP 3 : Now, for the middle part, simply draw a circle (SHIFT + draw using ellipse tool to get a circle). Use the Crystal tool (available along with warp tool in tools box) and click in the middle of the circle. The color of the circle is Yellow. The stroke color is Black and stroke size is 1 px.

STEP 4 : Now select using the selection tool the entire flower consisting of 16 petals and the middle part and drag them into the Photoshop document. In Photoshop document, the entire flower image will be pasted as a smart object. Now right click the smart object layer and select Blending options and set the following :

Gradient Overlay settings > Set the Blend mode to = ' PIN LIGHT  ' with opacity as 100% and style used as = Radial with angle-90% and scaled to 64 %.The Gradient style used is a newly created Bi-color gradient of Purple shade that is # d01093 and Yellow shade that is #  ffff00, equally distributed. Select the Reverse option. Leave the Blend mode of this layer in the layer box as Normal.

Select the middle yellow circle and go to EFFECT MENU > DISTORT AND TRANSFORM > ZIG ZAG.Under the Zig Zag options, set the size to = 25 mm and Ridges per segment = 15. Select the ' Absolute ' option. Set the Points to = Smooth. These measurements vary from the sizes of the circles drawn. ( b .) Draw another circle slight bigger than the previous one and place it over the middle circle. The fill color is # 2E3192 ( Dark Blue shade) and no stroke is assigned. Select this dark blue circle and use the SCALLOP tool in the Tools box available with Warp tool  and simply click in the middle. The star effect is applied.

8._) Flower EIGHT created using basic Ellipse shape tool :

flow8
STEP  : This is a very simple flower so there are no long steps.

  • Middle part of a flower > Draw a big oval shape using Ellipse tool and the fill color of the shape # EF3C49 ( Dark Pink shade). The stroke color is # F59BB2 (Light Pink shade) and stroke size is 5 px.
  • Petals > Next draw a circle, (SHIFT + draw using ellipse tool to get a circle) and place it behind the big oval shape. You can use, Object menu > Arrange to bring Front or Send it Back. The fill color of the shape # 971B1E ( Dark Brown shade). The stroke color is # F59BB2 (Light Pink shade) and stroke size is 5 px. Now to make multiple copies, simply select the circle shape and press ALT + drag to get a copy. This is the easiest method. As you drag it, you can allign them behind the Oval shape easily.
  • Pores > Now use the Ellipse tool again and draw tiny circles over the big oval shape to make it colorful. The fill color for the mini circle is # F15D22 (Orange shade). Use ALT + click and drag method to make many copies and position them with sufficient space between them.

9._) Flower NINE created using plain stroke and gradient added in Photoshop :

flow9
STEP  : This is also a simple Flower where gradient is added.

  • Petals > Draw Oval shape using Ellipse Tool with Fill color as WHITE and stroke color as BLACK. The stroke size is 25 pt. This is very important. Now create FIVE copies and paste them using normal Paste option > CTRL + V. Using the transform tool, Rotate them accordingly.
  • Middle part of the flower > Now, draw a circle, (SHIFT + draw using ellipse tool to get a circle) with the same Fill color as WHITE and stroke color as BLACK and the stroke size is 25 pt and place it in the middle. See that other petals are not intersected. Then it will look awkward. You can increase or reduce its size to fit in perfectly.
  • Now select using the selection tool the entire flower consisting of petals and the middle part and drag them into the Photoshop document. In Photoshop document, the entire flower image will be pasted as a smart object. Now right click the smart object layer and select Blending options ( or go to Layer many > Layer style > Blending options)  and set the following :

Gradient Overlay settings > Set the Blend mode to = ' HARD LIGHT  ' with opacity as 100% and style used as = Radial with angle = 90% and scaled to 100 %.The Gradient style used is a newly created Bi-color gradient of Purple shade that is # cc33cc and Green shade that is #  42be5f, equally distributed. Do not Select the Reverse option. Leave the Blend mode of this layer in the layer box as Normal.

10._) Flower TEN created using Pen tool and Photoshop Gradient and Bevel :

Next, click near that point. Use the pen tool to form a perfect petal shape. Set the fill color of this petal to WHITE and the stroke color to # EC008C (Pink shade) and the STROKE size to 15 pt. This is very important.

STEP 2 : ( a. ) Make SEVEN more copies of the petal by  ALT+ click the shape and drag to make a duplicate or copy and paste the shape. You should have totally 8 petals. Select each shape using the Selection tool  and rotate them using Free Transform Tool accordingly to place them to form a flower shape. The placement is in such a way that the petals on one side of the flower are Symmetrical to the petals of the other side of the flower. Once the arrangement is complete, select each shape using Direct selection tool and select the points that have to be altered and extend the petals. ( b. ) Now, draw a circle, (SHIFT + draw using ellipse tool to get a circle) with the same Fill color as WHITE and stroke color as  # EC008C (Pink shade) and stroke size as 15 pt and place it in the middle. See that other petals are not intersected. You can increase or reduce its size to fit in perfectly.

STEP 3 : Now select using the selection tool the entire flower consisting of petals and the middle part and drag them into the Photoshop document. In Photoshop document, the entire flower image will be pasted as a smart object. Now right click the smart object layer and select Blending options ( or go to Layer many > Layer style > Blending options)  and set the following :

Gradient Overlay settings > Set the Blend mode to = ' LINEAR LIGHT  ' with opacity as 100% and style used as = Radial with angle = 90% and scaled to 71 %.The Gradient style used is a newly created Bi-color gradient of Light Green shade shade that is # 26d182 and Dark Green shade that is #  04444a, equally distributed. Do not Select the Reverse option. Leave the Blend mode of this layer in the layer box as Normal.
