Our Sense Organs

Let us know about our sense organs as these are the only source with the help of them we are able to adjust in this beautiful world. Our sense organs are our brain’s link to the world we live in. without them we cannot see, hear, smell, taste or feel. The organs which help us in all these activities are called Sense Organs.

The Five sense organs are:

Eyes, Nose, Ear, Tongue, and Skin.

Eyes

They help us to see.

They tell us about the colors.

They tell us about the size of an object.

They tell us about the distance of the things.

Nose

It tells about smell.

It helps us to Breathe.

It also helps us to taste also.

Ears

They tell us about the sound.

One interesting thing we can ask that why we have to ears? So we have to ears so that we can able to find the direction of sound. If we have only one ear than we can hear the sound but cannot tell that from which direction it is coming.

Tongue

The tongue tells us about taste. The tastes are of four types sweet, bitter, salty and sour.

The tongue also helps us to speak.

Skin

The Skin helps us to feel.

It helps us to feel hard and smooth. It also helps us to feel hot and cold.

It protects the inner part of the body also.
