The number of good colleges in India is few one can count up to 20. Every student wants to get into top 20. So if the foreign universities come to India . They can very well compete with the colleges which rank around 20 in a better way. Secondly almost every MBA college in India is having their education fee quite high as they are autonomous exceptions . FMS .
Moreover if foreign universities come to India . The cost of establishments for them would be quite LOW as compared to Indian universities because the value of their currency would be more.
thirdly they can give students in India better international exposure by student exchange programmed better guest faculty from India as well as foreign universities.
So foreign universities in India will surely succeed.
Who knows may b the reverse happen let's compare with the foreign products like magi, Colgate, tide. These are also able to compete with Indian products , they are selling them in Indian price so why can't they establish foreign institutes having the same fees and cost like Indian institute. yes it may take time for these institutes to make their name
Foreign universities are dream for India. but it may be full fill in the future. When the LPG model(liberalization, privatization & globalization) has been introduce in india ,the more & more companies are invested in India ,because they are investing in different field for the profit, but still one area is remain i.e. in the field of education.
So the next time the foreign universities will come in and definitely that will provide the better prospect of education and exposure on the same cost which we r paying...
Foreign universities are like foreigner investment . They are only come here for money not for education. Because they know that in India students looking for Foreign universities for study and some are went out of country
