Trifles Make Perfection But Perfection Is No Trifle
Obstacles are meant to be overcome. Hardships and obstacles are not to be avoided but to be overcome. Resist and overcome all sorts of obstacles with courage and it will soon grow into a habit and become your second nature. Failures are not fatal; they are verily the stepping stones to success. An ability to fail but profit from it often makes for lasting success. Making a mistake is not a crime but repeating one is. Fear of failure can destroy ones creativity and initiative. Everybody fails at some time. Extract the lesson to be learned from your failure and then forget all about it.
Meet every adverse circumstance as its master, don't let it master you. Defeat may serve as well as victory to shake the soul and let the glory out. Little minds are tamed and subdued by misfortunes but great minds rise above it. Many men give the grandeur of their lives to their tremendous difficulties. Adversity is the prosperity of the great. "Kites rise against the wind and not with it". For those who quit defeat may prove the final blow but for the brave who seek their chance to learn it shows the way to triumph in the end. There is no failure save in giving up, no real fall as one still tries. Seeming set backs make the strong man wise. There is no defeat, in truth, save from within; unless you are beaten there, you are bound to win.
What is a failure? It is only a spur to a man who receives it right, it makes the spirit within him stir to go in once more and fight. If you have never failed, it is an easy guess that you have not known high success. The hardest man in the world to beat is the man who can laugh in the face of defeat. "When we sigh about our trouble it grows double everyday. When we laugh about our trouble it is a bubble blown away". To dare is great but to bear is greater. Bravery we share with brutes, fortitude with saints. Success is most enjoyable when it is won against all odds. Nothing that comes too easily is worth having. Emily Dickinson rightly says : "Success is counted sweetest by those who never succeed". A man who never made a mistake never made anything. Pluck and dash have often changed a mistake into success. It is a choice and not chance that determines the ultimate outcome. Circumstances do not evolve by chance; they are brought about by action, or by inaction in the process stage. Success of events depend on forethought and timely enterprise. Trifles make perfection, though perfection is no trifle.
