  • Don’t waste bucket and buckets of water for bathing and toilet purpose-Using a mug or small vassals for brushing or shaving can help save water. You need not open the taps for such purposes.
  • Tank bund and ponds cleaned before rain season-Water recharge structures should be cleaned before the monsoon.
  • All are cemented floor in cites, so the rain water is wasting, freely flowing with the drainage canals.-Smear the floor with mud: don’t cement it. With this water seeps in from a wide area and keeps the soil moist; ground water level also increases.
  • Speed brake and store flood water-Clean beakers, uniforms and instruments in laboratories with used water initially and then rinse them with fresh water. This way you can save water.
  • See and use compare with percentage last year and this year rain fall and reservoir water store-Measure the rainfall at a definite place with a rain gauge. Compare the readings of the current year with of last year and record the difference. Give these details to the media. Display it in you school’s wall magazine.
