A quick review over what is Adverb and Adjective and where to use them!

*An Adverb is generally an Adjective + 'ly'/'ily'

Example - He's is a careful driver
He drives carefully

careful-Adjective
carefully-adverb

*An Adjective tells you about a noun
Ex- A slow car (slow-adjective)

*An adverb tells you about a verb
Ex- He drives slowly (slowly-adverb)

Adjective--->Noun
Adverb------>Verb


*If an Adjective word ends in 'y' ,change the 'y' to 'i+ly'
Ex-Noisy-noisily
Easy-Easily
Angry-angrily

*If an Adjective word ends in 'l' , change the 'l' to 'ly'
Ex-Beautiful-Beautifully
Careful-Carefully

*There are a few exceptional cases of adjectives like 'fast' 'Hard' 'Late, where in the 'ly' doesnot come in its adverb form.
