"Early to bed, early to rise makes a man healthy , wealthy and wise" ... ALl of us know that this is an age old proverb, but i totally disagree with it. How can waking up early be related to health wealth and wisdom??  havent seen 6 am for the past so many years but i dont think i lack in any of the above 3 qualities.

Well well the topic says ..hardships attending the 8 am lecture...Like i said..since waking up aint my cup of tea.. the only option left for me (when in college) was to enter the class late. Entering a class late is usually a skill which can be mastered only with experience. t requires courage , techniques , perseverance and above all luck!!

BEFORE ENTERING A CLASS LATE MAKE SURE THAT:

1) You check the exact tie on your watch and ensure that there is a minimum of 15 mins left for the lecture to end

2) You are entering the right lecture hall

3) You have a piece of paper and pen (not necessarily it works) in your hand

4) If the door is open, then ask the 1st benchers by sign language if it would be safe to enter the class

5) If the door is latched from inside , SMS someone already inside the class and ask the following details

- Who is the lecturer?
- What time did he/she start the class?
- How is his/ her mood today (Important)?
- Is attendance taken? If yes... is my proxy already given?
- Would it be advisable to enter now?

6) If the door is closed and your determined to enter the class, first knock on the door politely , if there is no response then bang the door hard and if still there is   no response then kick the door with all your force and run away (The guys in our class used to do this so very often)

7) Then comes the grand finale - we were all taught in school to take permission of the teacher before entering a class. But the golden rule in all professional colleges is (atleast it was in our college) : DONT DISTURB THE LECTURER IF YOU ARE ENTERING THE CLASS LATE. So the best thing to do is rum up the stairs and sit at the nearest seat available.

It would be advisable to write notes or pretend writing for about 5 mins as there is a high possibility that the lecturer might be noticing you!!!

So my dear friends, entering the class late is not so easy like it seems to be. It requires a lot of dedicated effort , coupled with the luck factor!!!!
