How to reduce stress

Now a day’s human life is just like a pressure cooker. Instead of air humans have pressure.  The stress causes lot of down performance and makes humans to act indifferently on occasions. This can be costly too.  The person’s work under constant pressure like IT professionals life is just hell. They spent lot to the hospitals and after 30 – 35 years of their life time they are become useless as living beings. Due to the over work and no schedule they become aged by that time, physically as well as mentally.

 

One of the main reason for this is they do not get enough time for relaxation. May not even to watch the news or enjoy some music. This leads to the low morale of the IT staffs [not all]. Every one choses sex as an easy way to overcome stress. It does have merits and direct link with stress and mental  happiness. But the way guys approach the stuff makes public think negative about it.

  1. 1. Vacations

You need vacations to enjoy your life. If it is with your friends there will be more joy. But I would rather say once in a year family vacations are a must. While choosing places to go, you should be very cautious. If it is not so popular then it is good because if the places are overcrowded we may not enjoy the tour. To get some sunshine or sitting on the beach or taking open bath in a current or water falls are some locations I can suggest getting some relief from the pressure. Then it is up to you to select the favorite place to unwind you. You should better keep your phone silent while enjoying vacations.

 

  1. 2. Hobbies

I used to play games just to reduce stress. Both physical and mental games can change our mind from the current state of mind. Physical games can also relax our muscles. Selecting a hobby is ones choice ie. You can select it according to your situations. I prefer you to have a physically challenging game as a hobby if you can. Since you get enough pleasure playing it and your health become excellent.

 

  1. 3. Using mobile wisely

Telephone is a cause of stress always. Some unwanted calls changed people’s life entirely. Some even spoiled their families too. While working in a stressful environment better not to attend unlisted phone calls as most probably all these are promotions from the network provider.  Most phones have a facility called number screening. This can be effectively used to avoid unwanted peoples calls. You can avoid calls and messages from this screen list and can add any number of contacts in it. Whenever you are free, can cancel the number from the list.

 

  1. 4. Privacy

Most managers think that interaction between staffs will increase the productivity so they will have systems in the open hall instead of their workers working inside a closed cubicle. Up to some extend it is correct but privacy is must thing for anyone to think. In open place you can’t push your brain to think wisely. Lack of privacy adds stress and in turn reduces productivity.

 

  1. 5. Delegation

If there is so much work in your desk and you think that is too much for you then you should delegate it. You are not the only one to do that. Let other also share your work. This will surely reduce your stress level. If the work cannot be transferred then you can also ask your collegues to help you out.

 

  1. 6. Some yoga techniques

Psychologists have developed certain breathing techniques to overcome stress. It is so easy and can be done at any place any time. It relieves stress and tension by increasing your oxygen intake. For this you have to take deep breaths for some time so more oxygen reaches the brain to ease the tension.

 

  1. 7. Changing the subject

By changing the subject suddenly can reduce your stress dramatically. When in a serious work and lot of tension and stress around we can ease the situation by mentioning some jovial situation or some jokes. By hearing this everyone would laugh and that reduces stress.
