How to keep fit in a work place

This is a tough life these days, too busy in our work places with very few opportunities for exercises and fitness programs due to too busy schedule. Are you feeling dull, a little bit fatty at waist? This is about right time to learn a few easy exercises at your work place with out disturbing you regular working hours.

The purpose of these exercises is simple and plain, to keep us in shape and avoid getting our joints stiff. Oh yes I know, no one would like to go out and run a few kilometers to make our working outfit sweaty so, nothing like that just a few starching and simple activities.19-3-11 007

First of all some exercises for our arms and legs:  Try them to feel better.

1- Shadow boxing is one of the best exercises that, helps the cause for arms exercise. Simply standup and take a couple of jabs at the air with soft action.


2- Arms Pump- Pump both of your arms over your head for couple of seconds, say about 45 for a start.

3- Raise your shoulders- Raise shoulders towards your ear to relax them, I suggest to do it ten times in a minute. Relax and repeat it once again.

4- Stretch your wrists- Stretch them in front of you and grab them by fingers one at a time, bed the fingers a little down so to raise your arm, repeat it alternately 10 times.

- For your feet and legs:

1- Raise your toes- Lift your toes while keeping your heels firmly on the ground. You can do this exercise standing or seated according to your choice, this works well in either position.

2- Calf Raise- Stand in front of a desk other piece of furniture that you can hold on to keep yourself balanced. Raise your heels of the floor ad slowly lower them. Repeat it ten times in a minute.

3- Simply walk in your hallway- walk down and up the hallway as fast as you find yourself comfortable with, this will make you feel very light after sitting so long.

These are very simple exercises, which you can practice easily and without tiring yourself whenever you find a few minutes to spare in your office to remain fit and fine.
