  • Some say that meats are important parts of the diet, too. I am a vegan and I get all my protein from vegetable sources - and there are plenty. If you are a meat eater, nevertheless, you need protein but you shouldn’t want to get it from fatty meats. Improving your diet to just lean meats will allow you to cut down on the intake of cholesterol which will ultimately clog your heart minimizing blood flow to the rest of your body.
