"Irregular Periods" with severe pain is a common problem faced by many school and college going girls."Hormone imbalance" is the main reason for irregular periods. One of the main influential factor for harmone secretion is  food and life style.Irregular periods occur when the new harmone secretion is hampered by improper food and life style.

Food and Life Style

Now a days girls attain puberty even at the age of 10. There is a strong interconnection between early puberty ,food habits and lifesyle. Friends, this is the age to play and be happy right?.Puberty at an early age makes the children feel very much depressed both physically and mentally. They are not mature enough to understand what puberty is?They feel very much insecured and they have a tendency to keep themselves away from other children. Also, this is a thing with which every women needs to live with for the rest of her life.

In my perception, parents are solely responsible for the problem of early puberty of their children.Children blindly follow parents. The children are not old enough to analyze what is right and what is wrong?.Parents have to educate children about proper and balanced food and life style. There is a saying in tamil which means "A thing which we cannot set right at the age of 5 is the thing which will continue for the rest of your life".So, parents must lead our younger generation in a healthy way.

"Health is Wealth" is a well-known slogan which we all know. Working women and young girls concentrate more on physical appearance rather than health. They dont give importance for the food they consume. Eating is just a duty as other duties they carry out in their day today life. They also get addicted to the taste of junk food.Junk food is one of the curses of modern generation.Younger generation  consume more junk food in the name of parties and feasts for which they pay dearly. Eating too much of junk food is also a main reason for irregular periods. The latest trend among young women is "Size Zero".Girls, the body needs energy and strength to be active. Both overeating and eating less is not good for health.Undereating is as harmful as overeating. That is why it is said "As you eat, so you become".

Now a days "Giving Treat" has become a more common practice and a fashionable thing among youths. All pizza huts and pizza corners gain more revenue from this. One thing we need to understand is indian food is ideal for our body as it contains ingredients which is exclusively suitable for us with regards to our culture, lifestyle and climatic condition.
