Cauliflower leaves pickle


Chopped cauliflower leaves

Fenugreek seeds -1 spoon

White gram – 2spoons

Turmeric – 1 pinch

Tamarind – at the size of lemon

Garlic petals – 10

Salt – according to taste

Oil – 2 spoons


  1. Take a bowl
  2. Place it on stove
  3. Add oil and heat it.
  4. Now fry fenugreek seeds, white gram.
  5. Now again add some oil.
  6. Now add chopped cauliflower leaves, green chili and tamarind then fry them thoroughly by closing the lid.
  7. Then add salt to that mixture and grind this mixture in mixy.
  8. Now fry garlic petals in oil and mix them in that mixture
  9. Therefore Cauliflower leaves pickle is ready

This is a recipe which is very tasty. We can eat this with the combination of rice, chapathi, breat, phulka etc. Cauliflowers leaves are the main ingredient in this recipe. Everyone will definitely like this to eat. We can store this for 3 months. As we included tamarind also, so it helps the pickle to be fresh for 3 months. This dish will be a very nice smell. It is a healthy food to eat especially kids. I hope you will try this definitely and enjoy the taste. Most of the people don’t know that we can prepare dishes with cauliflower leaves also. They just take flower out and leave the leaves. But knowing about this dish we got aware that cauliflower leaves have more vitamins.
